Loved the water park - huge pool winding around the hotel, slides going into the pool, and so on. Also, nature is right there: manta rays, coral, mongoose (mongeese?). It's very near the coffee plantations of Kona, which are generally beautiful. This hotel and Kona itself are some of my favorite places on earth. more

We stayed at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay while participating in a scientific meeting. The design of the hotel is really nice: many open spaces, amazing pool and a wonderful (although pricey) restaurant. At night it hosts the swim with the mantarays which is beautiful and you can catch the trolley to visit the bay area where all the cool shops... more

Beautiful views, spacious room, great service, special location with CLOSE views of the rays. Pools were terrific. There are larger, more stylish, resorts but the service and facilities here cannot be beat. It is 70's architecture...kid friendly, teen friendly and adult friendly. We have been to Kona many times and stayed in some spectacular resorts, but, will return here. more
