I have never written a review even for the dump where we stayed in Paris. But this was a wonderful experience for the entire family even the teens (boy 14, girl 16). The Kona Sugar Shack is perfectly located for touring all over the island...it is the place to come home to at the end of the day and feel totally at home with all the amenities. The best and only way to stay on the Big Island! The Kona Sugar Shack has a great location on Ali'i Drive--its removed enough from touristy Kona, yet still has access to all the great amenities such as grocery stores and beaches.
