Pension U Tkadlen has an amazing location, right beneath the castle, next to the river and a few minutes walk from the central square. Reception is in the adjoining restaurant and they rent rowboats. The toilets and bathrooms were clean but the room I had was grubby. The bed was pretty poor too - old bits of wood for slats under a slice of foam instead of a mattress. There was a great balcony looking over the river but no kitchen or other common area that I could find (or was told about). The staff seemed nice enough, but you don't see much of them once you have your keys. For location alone 3.5 out of 5. If you don't like roughing it a little though, this probably isn't the place for you. more
