We had a great time in Seward and Angel's Rest was the perfect place to stay. After a day of exploring, it was great to come back and grill some fresh fish and enjoy the view. We can't wait to come back because this is where we will stay! more

We visited Seward July 6-9, 2009. We flew into Anchorge, took the train (Goldstar was worth it) then rented a car. On the ride out to Lowell Point we saw an otter and eagles. Angels Rest was a lovely place to stay. The kitchenette was perfect to keep snacks and make coffee and a light breakfast. There was a small TV and a basket of Alaska videos, we watched a couple the night we got in and it got us excited for the days to come. I would highly recommend it to other couples.... more

There are much, much better places to stay on Lowell Point for the money. I can't testify to the oceanfront places, but the newly-built 4-plex is overpriced and generally uncomfortable. The little notes that the other reviewers mentioned were ridiculous; I can't see how instructions to clean up after yourselves in the kitchenette area or a cheesy request to tip... more
