We found this Chambre D'Hotes by pure chance in a quiet street in the town centre of Lannion. They have three letting rooms on the second floor, all are beautifully appointed, large rooms, with enormous en-suite shower rooms.
The landlady is a local lady whose grandmother was a lace maker, and every inch of the house is filled with fascinating ornaments, displays, pictures etc. In one room, even the inside of the wardrobe was lined with padded fabric.
Throughout, the house was presented with some considerable French style, was spotlessly clean and the welcome was very warm. Breakfast, served in a pretty little room, was ample, with fresh fruit and a traditional Breton cake.
As the house is close to the town centre, walking to a restaurant for dinner was no trouble. Parking is on the quiet on-way street.
The landlady speaks only a little English, but has a lovely broad smile
