A group of us (10) stayed at this "hostel" before we hiked the Chilkoot trail. As we walked to the place, we realized that it was not the best choice. The garden was disorganized and filled with trash. Before the hike, we were allocated the "shed". This is a modified garage kind of place with a meat freezer in it.... more

My friend and I stayed at this hostel one night this June. We were unimpressed from the moment we arrived. The whole opperation was disorganized and unproffessional. We felt like we were intruding in someone's disfunctional home. We were staying in the annex which is basically a shed in the yard packed with bunks. I was a bit disappointed with this hostel, especially after staying at the Juneau Hostel and their standards. There are two options for staying here, in the Annex ($15 USD a night) or a single sex dorm room ($20 USD a night). When booking this room we were not given this option and were booked at the higher rate. That... more

Hostel is located almost downtown and next to the grocerystore. The place feels like home and is an excellent spot to hang out for a couple of days before continuing the trip.
