Honestly, this is the land of the bloody midnight sun and you are charging $125+ night--invest in some decent window coverings. One of the windows had a gauzy curtain which, incidentally, fell off the wall and onto my head several times as I tried to shut it. I guess the dollar they spent on the curtain rod was not the... Rustic log cabins in a pristine environment....quiet and calm far from the madding crowd.....Skagway itself is very tourist and cruise ship oriented...so nan's bungalows are a perfect respite. great showers, plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. Very well priced...there were 4 of us and we took both bungalows so it was perfect...highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed in The Eagle cabin for 3 wonderful nights. I won't post pictures as the pictures on their website are 100% spot on. The cabin is big - lots of room to roam around and the bed is perfect. The place was top notch clean (and I'm fussy about that) and in great condition. There's a... More

Four of us--two couples--took both bungalows for a stay in late June. The bungalows are beautiful, roomy, spotless, and very comfortable. The beds were wonderful, the water nice and hot, the kitchenette great, and the views and setting outstanding. We couldn't have asked for more. It was a great spot for relaxing and regenerating after a long trip through Alaska... More

Great place, very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay there. Beautiful views and away from all the cruisers. Dyea Road is a great place to explore. I highly recommend this place. It's a great bargain too.

Due to arriving late on the ferry, Nan came out and picked me up at the terminal. The cabins are warm and inviting, totally surrounded by trees. A kitchenette fully equiped, and a good shower. I couldn't resist turning off the heat, opening the windows full, grabbing the extra blanket. and sleeping to the sound of the wind in the... More

This is the perfect alternative to Skagway's historic (Victorian decor with a small room) gold rush era hotels and those of the motel and hostel persausion. It is a great place to reread a Jack London's "The Call of the Wild" and find yourself in the middle of it all only a mile or so from Skagway. The friendly resident... More
