We took a room at the Moore when it seemed that all rooms in Seattle were taken. It has both good and bad features. The accommodations are Spartan but clean and spacious. my boyfriend and i stayed at the moore november 2008 and LOVED it. the front desk personnel was friendly and attentive to our questions. we wanted to bring the bed home with us it was so comfortable! the street noise is to be expected downtown; but the walls seemed sound proof to us. we honestly didn't hear any other guest.... more

Even though the hotel is dated, it is VERY clean. Everything in my room worked properly. I would strongly recommend this if you want to be close to downtown, especially Pike Place Market (only 2 blocks away!) and are on a budget.
