We spent three nights at the Moore Hotel and for the money it was excellent. The room had a cracking view of the Port and even though it was at the front of the hotel, it wasn't noisy in the slightest. The room itself was big and airey with a large-ish en-suite. Everything was very clean and the bed comfortable.... more

The Moore is a few blocks from Pike's Market. Public transportation is nearby. We ditched our rental car and used buses and cabs or we walked everywhere. The neighborhood has its share of urban ills, but so does every other big city and we were never scared. If you want to stay in downtown Seattle for a reasonable price, this... more

This isn't a great hotel unless you just want somewhere cheap to stay which is what I wanted. It has shared bathrooms which aren't in great condition but were useable. There is a sink in your room, mine was very rusty and didn't look too appealing to use. The room was fine, quite a decent size. Had a television in... more

I needed to stay in Seattle for as little money as possible. I planned on a hostel, but they were full so they referred me to Moore Hotel. I paid around $60 a night, which is about half of what you would pay for any other hotel downtown. Although the building is old, it was clean and very safe. The... more

I liked the Moore. They were doing some renovations and all the halls were decorated differently. Not a "cookie cutter" hotel like most chains. Interesting... I stayed in a 2 Queen bed room for 2 nights and it was fine but when my friend left, I decided to splurge and get a suite (for only $125!) for the next two... more

The room was small and dark and hot, the beds uncomfortable, and there was loud street noise, including drag racing, all night long. The heat could not be adjusted (the people at the front desk were no help at all with this), so we had to have the windows open; therefore, due to the heat and the noise in the... more

My husband and I took my mother on vacation to Seattle. I knew before I booked the room that this hotel isn't fancy, and I was fine with that. However, on the night we stayed, the bar underneath the hotel had karaoke until 2 a.m. and none of us could sleep. I was angry about this because when I called... more

Wow! I thought it was a fairytale to be able to pay $89 a night for a room and for it to have a clawfoot tub, for it to be VERY clean and for check-in to be smooth. Did I mention the soap and shampoo smells amazing. And let's give it a heck yeah for being a very short walk... more

walking distance to all of downtown buses, easy to walk to shops and Pikes Market area. But turn right out of hotel to experience Belltown shops, cafes and bars. But bring your own shampoos - not supplied in room. Its an upgrade from the hostel down the street and now if you are like me and plan to be out... more
