We recently stayed at this hotel as part of a Travel Package thru Victoria Clipper - Service to Seattle. It seemed to be in need of renovation...very dirty carpet.....mold in the bathroom...paint job needed to be done. Granted it was the lowest priced option for this package.... we just expected a little better quality. more

My husband and I stayed at the Sixth Avenue Inn after watching a Mariners game. To be honest we weren't expecting much, for only $104 a night we didn't really know what we were getting. We were suprised when we arrived, the lobby is very nice, the staff is nice and informative as well. Our room was clean and relaxing.... more

This is a very good hotel, for the price. The rooms are very clean, and have TV, Iron with ironing board, internet access, coffee maker, hair dryer and bathroom. The rooms are a little small, but ample enough for the purpose (and the price!). There is a 27" TV that has some cable channels. The service was excellent, the staff... more

We stayed for one night at this hotel. We chose this based on its location - the cheapest available in the area! Location: Excellent. Five minutes to the downtown shopping district. about 15 minutes from Pike's Place Market. However there is a gentlemen's club at the back side of the hotel and the area may not be that safe to... more

it was one of a few of the cheapest-tiered hotels in the downtown seattle area, and we were wanting to save money, and even if i am the type that can usually compromise quality for budget, i would not stay there again. in fact, i chanced going to a cheaper hotel and try my luck there. nothing felt clean, and... more

Thank you for your feedback from your recent stay. We are dismayed to hear of your experience and will make a renewed effort to check every single room more carefully. I hope you shared your experience with the front desk so they could correct the issues, but I admit these issues should not have been there to start. I promise...

The Sixth Avenue Inn was a good deal for the happening downtown Seattle area. It is within walking distance of almost anything you would want to see or do making it safe to party without worrying about who is going to drive. The rooms are incredibly outdated but if you can see past the decor, this is your hotel. The... more

Fast check in. Love the wall of windows in the room. Very comfortable, large room convenient to attractions. Good, secure internet connection. The bed was ok, but not great. Street noise can be a little loud so you may need earplugs if you aren't used to it. Ralph's grocery was just two blocks away for room snacks. The happy hour... more

Thank you for taking time to give a review of your stay at our hotel. We appreciate your insight. We are planning on upgrading the windows in the near future to reduce the outside noise. As for parking, $15 is significantly lower than most downtown hotel parking and we include the tax. We are also working with the local authorities...

We stayed here for a couple nights over the weekend, and found it to be a great spot. The location is perfect, the price was good. The parking was a decent price ($15/night). The hotel staff were very helpful - they suggested places to eat. Our hair dryer did not work - a new one was brought up within 10... more

The elevator told the "WHOLE" story of what I was in for once I exited....Draped with a brown diamond sheet to cover the gross inner walls, once I exited and entered my room I found it to be musty, moldy, with stained carpets and not a place that I would ever recommend to anyone........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: The Location Cons: We don't... more

Thank you for taking time to share your experience from your visit to our hotel. We are sorry for the temporary elevator walls but as we just took over in October 2008, we are still in the remodel stage. The walls of the elevators were so unacceptable that we removed the wall coverings and put up temporary move in covers...

This hotel was clean and cheap but was not what I expected from the pictures on the internet. The rooms were old and had a musty smell. The employees manning the desk out front were not helpful when we asked about some tourist attractions. Some were very nice and friendly but others were not! This hotel was not a good... more

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay. We have just last week completed an upgrade to all of our rooms to include new furniture.
