Once you walk into the lobby, it really is like stepping back in time. Very beautiful. We ended up going to the happy hour and the food was fantastic!. Room was nice and clean and the walls seemed thick where you couldn't hear the neighbors having a conversation. (Although we were woken up at midnight by the people above us... more

We stayed two days in Seattle at the end of a trip. We were impressed with previous reviews of the hotel and chose it on that basis. It is easy to find. However they have no parking and valet service is $26 per day. They were very accommodating about a late check out and did comp us the second day... more

The Sorrento is 100 years old, and when you step into the lobby, it's like stepping back in time or like being in Europe. There is lovely antique style furniture, beautiful wood paneling, a jazz pianist playing, and a fire burning. The staff is wonderful. Very accommodating. I was on a business trip, and most hotels for business use charge... more

The Hotel Sorrento was wonderful. The staff were extremely relaxed, friendly and helpful. The hotel has a wonderful old world charm. I noted a preference for vegan food in the online reservation and the staff went out of their way to address this on checkin and when I wnet to the restaurant. The room was superb. I would highly recommend... more

I didn't choose the Sorrento Hotel; it was chosen for me. And thank goodness! In a world of mediocrity and warmed-over “clock-watching” hospitality, the Sorrento Hotel proved to this weary business traveler that there are owners and staff members who still focus on the customer experience. Like everything else in life, it's the little things that make the difference. Thanks... more

I came to Seattle to see the Seattle Opera with a friend. It was a special occasion for both of us (she lives in Seattle). I love the Capitol Hill area so I stayed at the Sorrento. Having made my reservations for a suite, I e-mailed the concierge and asked for a town car to be made available for the... more

The hotel was just lovely. My boss and I experienced great service from the front desk and concierge with directions, car reservations, etc. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept deeply. Love the hot water boiler in the room so I could make a hot cup of tea with their Mighty Leaf tea bags. The location was convenient to... more

This hotel is so pretty. It's a little to far to walk down the hill to the waterfront...but not a bad location. I loved the piano playing in the lobby when I checked in. My husband and I enjoyed the restaurant. The food was wonderful. A little pricy but worth it. Angela Monson Liberty Lake Wa more

We recently had our wedding and reception at the Sorrento Hotel. We felt it would be the perfect venue for a winter wedding - and it was. The furnishings and decor are lovely, and the views and terrace added a classy touch. However, the management at the Sorrento was terrible. From the beginning, they failed to communicate with us, not... more

My husband and I recently stayed one night at the Sorrento Hotel while celebrating our one year anniversary. We had been to the Sorrento once before while dining at the Hunt Club, and it instantly came to mind when making plans for the overnight getaway. I booked online at a good price and was worried we might not get the... more
