We've been picked up twice by the Westin in Seattle on Priceline.com and so therefor has been a great value. Can't say we'd pay full price to stay there, though. Prospective guests would do well to heed the advisory letter in each suite, which in essence reads: "This building is designed to flex in order to withstand earthquakes. As such, the guest may hear noises as the building moves during windstorms. This is appropriate. Do not worry. If the guest is disturbed, ear plugs are available at guest services." LOL!!... more

My husband and I stayed at the Westin from bidding through Hotwire. As I recall, we ended up paying about $120 per night - a very fair price. We stayed there for 4 wonderful nights. I usually prefer to stay at bed and breakfasts and/or to rent a place, but I couldn't find such a thing for our 4 night... more

We enjoyed our three-day stay here immensely. Within walking distance, you can find a large drugstore, good restaurants, a downtown shopping mall, the monorail to the Space Needle and it's within a doable walking distance to Pike Place Market. Came to town for a Seattle Seahawks vs Arizona Cardinals NFL football game. The Westin in downtown was great for this trip. Room was updated, clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
