I spent three very peaceful nights at the Grand Hyatt. The room was large and extrordinarily clean. The bathroom had a large shower, and an inviting bathtub, that looked like new. The in-room coffee was the best "hotel room" coffee I have had in any hotel. And if you don't like the in-room coffee, a Starbucks is located next to... more

I Traveled for 15 years on business and many more for leisure travel. I have stayed in pretty rustic inns to 5 star hotels. The Gran Hyatt was truly the nicest Hyatt I have ever visited and the views and staff far exceeded some stays I have had at hotels in the Four Seasons chain and Ritz Carlton. What an... more

The Grand Hyatt in Seattle is top rate. From check-in to check-out it was a flawless stay. There was no line at check-in, and the attendant was extremely helpful, including putting us in a room on a higher floor at our request. We arrived at our room and were very pleased with the decor and the cleanliness. The bathroom is... more

This was by far the most I have paid for a room for business ($200+valet). Having said that: I was comfortable, felt safe (woman traveling alone), loved how close I was to where I needed to be (the Convention Center). Door man was incredibly friendly, valet guys nice and relaxed (I'm 40, but not used to Ma'am, and young men... more

I am a frequent business traveler and the Grand Hyatt Seattle has one of the most beautiful bathrooms I've seen that are three times the size of most hotel bathrooms with spa like glass showers, luxurious bathroom fixtures from the faucets to the bathtub, and marble floors...perfect for honeymooners or the most meticulous travelers...the location was perfect..within walking distance to... more

This is a nice building in a nice location with nice, clean rooms. Don't expect super-personalized service, just expect nice facilities and you'll be satisfied. We spent a week in the Grand Hyatt while puttering around Seattle. It was a nice base of operations, though in hindsight I would have chosen something a couple blocks closer to the water. We... more

Only the staff saved this hotel from a "terrible" rating. At every contact they were friendly, efficient, and went out of their way to be helpful. So what went wrong? NOISE. Loud, banging, wall-shaking, sleep-destroying NOISE. Every room in this hotel has a gap under the door of at least 1cm of clear air, some much greater. That means every... more

Stark in comparison to older classier hotels in the neighborhood (downtown), but comfortable. Bar was like a cafeteria-don't bother! Not much decor, kinda boring appearance to guest room. On the plus side, I am a bed-fanatic and I liked the quality of the beds. Not quite like the Marriott or Sheraton sleeper, but very close. We had a room on... more
