This hotel is perfectly situated on the Seattle waterfront just an elevator ride from the Pike's Place Market. Upon arrival we inquired about a good seafood restaurant within walking distance. The desk clerk made a call and got us a reservation at Anthony's across the street. When we go to the restaurant, they told us that the Marriott had ordered... more

My room was everything I could have hoped for after traveling from the east coast and preparing for a 5 day stay. Strong suits: Sheets: smooth and soft. Bathroom: pristine. Staff: everyone did their jobs with a smile. Location: Walkable to Pike's Place market, excellent variety of dining, aquarium, and shopping Limitations: breakfast room service only; pool area small; In... more

My wife and I spent one night at this Marriott prior to departing on a cruise and absolutely loved the hotel. I used points for a free stay and was given a corner room directly overlooking the water (wrap-around windows and a balcony). The hotel is modern, light and airy with a welcoming feel. Location cannot be beat - It... more

The Marriott waterfront was not only a nice hotel, but the location in Seattle was really a great asset. The waterfront was across the street, with many stores resturants etc. The elevator at the end of the hotel property took you to the Pike Market with again many shops etc. You could also easily walk to the downtown area from... more

I arrived at the Marriott late on a Monday night, tired after a long flight. I asked if I had a "nice room" and the woman at the desk said, yes, a room with a view of the sound. When I got to the room, with the help of a nice bellman, he assisted me with everything in the room... more

We booked the supposedly beautiful view room with balcony for the last two nights of our vacation. It was a splurge at $300+ a night but we figured to end the vacation with a bang. What a letdown! We were late so called ahead to ensure that our room would be held for us. When we got there they put... more

I have never written a review on a hotel, but felt I must on this one. We booked a deluxe king full bay view with balcony. First of all, it was the smallest room I've stayed in, and we travel a lot. The balcony did have a water view but had no chairs to sit on and was 3 x... more

Because of cruise traffic, finding a hotel room for this weekend was difficult. Because of this high demand, prices are obviously higher than I would expect. But even though we paid more than I wanted to, this is a great hotel for anyone wanting to be centrally located to all of the sites. It is walking distance to almost everything.... more

...unless, of course, like so many in the service business, they've just given up caring. Checked in Sun. PM for a conference Mon-Fri., very tired, was given a room with a balcony on my request - very nice! On the other hand, the staff misinformed me as to the location of the nearest Walgreen's - the only place, apart from... more

I stayed when the hotel was 100% full over a Friday and Saturday night. Online I had booked a room that was supposed to be facing the water and it cost more than the "regular" rate. When we arrived at our room it was facing the elevator/stairs that lead to town. I was not happy! I called and let them... more
