From the front door, reception, luggage delivery, housekeeping, rooms, room service, concierge and restaurant was a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed our 3 night stay. Extremely convenient location.

We recently stayed at the Fairmont to celebrate my husbands birthday. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help me celebrate. They even specially delivered chocolate covered strawberries which was such a pleasant surprise. The room didn't have a view of Seattle, but we did not request that. The entire hotel was spotless, every time... More

We had just come off the red-eye from Honolulu and arrived at the hotel at 7 a.m. and they graciously let us check-in early instead of the stated 3 p.m. check-in time. I really couldn't believe it! Instead of having to walk around downtown Seattle for a few hours like a zombie, I was able to get some rest that... More

If you like classic elegance, this is a great place for you. Every detail seems to take you back in time. There's intricate woodwork throughout, the elevators have an antique look to them and the doorknob to your room even looks like something that would have been used 100 years ago. The staff was phenomenal! The check in/check out was... More

Stayed for two nights on a quick trip to Seattle. Lovely old hotel in a great location for downtown Seattle. Bed was a bit hard and small. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Didn't have time to use the pool. Internet is $13 per day, which is a total rip off, however, you can circumvent this by joining the Fairmont President... More

When our taxi pulled up in front of the hotel I was already impressed and that continued with the great door staff who were friendly, welcoming and efficient. We arrived late in the evening and they had already taken care of our check in so the keys to our room were right there at the door allowing us to go... More

What a great location in Seatltle and a beautiful historic hotel. attention to detail was exceptional and every staff person we encountered gave top notch service. We felt very special and we did not have to ask for anything. It was our anniversary so we were given a complementary upgrade which was just perfect and it was suggested we keep... More

Lovely old school hotel in great location. AC in room did not work right because of clogged filter. They fixed it and provided fan but maintenance should be kept up. Also in am one of the two coffe mugs was dirty with coffee ring around inside. The hotel sent an apology note and 5 chocolate covered strawberries but seems like... More

This hotel feels like a luxurious boutique, but maintains that 20s feel. The service is great. They have a BMW that is no charge on a first come first served basis. Bear in mind, it is $40/nt to park on-site. Rick will remember your name and say hello every time you leave and return. The rooms have a Keurig, so... More

If you like shiny glitter, this hotel is not for you. This hotel is old school class - decorated with charm. Everything works here. The rooms are nice and the staff anticipate your need before you ask with a health service ethic! Nicely located, too.
