Our stay at the Fairmont Seattle was quite disappointing. It started off poorly when upon arrival the bellman offered little help unloading luggage from our car - families traveling with young children will appreciate how frustrating that was. Nevertheless, he was all too eager to stand around expecting a tip as we finished the job ourselves. The check-in desk staff... more

We stayed here at the suggestion of a friend who uses it often. Found a good rate on a discount website and did three days over a weekend. Large corner room with three windows (that opened!), very quiet, all amenities you'd expect at somewhere like the Ritz but without the stiffness. As our pal said, this is a lovely staff,... more

Stayed here with the kids end of March - we had a large executive suite which had a separate master bedroom. The kids had the sofa and an additional roll away in the living area with their own tv which they loved. The suite was immaculate, the staff all very friendly and courteous and the location couldnt have been any... more

I stayed here on my anniversary last year and loved every minute of it. The spacious rooms are decorated with elegant antique furniture and beautiful chandeliers and lamps. The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms were clean with wonderful showers. The lobby was beautiful and picture-perfect. I have attended a Christmas party here before and it was very elegant.... more

Nice hotel with a nice location. I would recommend for people over the age of 40. We had gift certificates for two nights and found the hotel nice. It does need a renovation though... no flat screen tv, a hole in the couch and the carpet is a bit worn. If you are under the age of 40 and want... more

My husband and I stayed at The Fairmont over Valentine's/President's Day weekend and loved every minute of it. The hotel is elegant in the traditional sense - understated, not over the top like The Fairmont in San Francisco. Our room was good-sized and well laid-out. And the bed! One of the most comfortable I have ever slept in! Loved the... more

We stay here a lot but my most recent time was probably the best. Well, here are my pros and cons. Pros- Pool/fitness center is small but relaxing. Pool is kid friendly because it has pool toys. Rooms are big and clean. Old, but in a good way. Very helpful staff. Cons- Pancakes there are really dry. Elevators are small... more

Stayed for two nights. Room was nicely decorated but a bit bland. Room service was good. Great location for the water front and shopping. The staff was always acomidating and helpful. The work out center/changing rooms were clean and appointed with many amenities. And you can even borrow work out gear or swim suits. more

Beautiful hotel, great service( except for the bartender Sunday night who was a bit abrubt and impatient when i was deciding on my drink). We made the reservation in person while staying at another Seattle location and got a great deal. Executive suite with 2 twin beds for $299 with a $100 Visa gift card! Well appointed suite but no... more
