The hotel was much nicer than I expected, the room set up very well. The only complaint I had with the place is the restaurant. I would NOT eat there for dinner. The breakfast was very good, but dinner was wayyyy over priced and not very tasty. more

We stayed here two nights before heading to Seward for an Alaskan Cruise. The hotel is in a good central location and you can get to anyplace within the city very quickly. We were very impressed with the front desk staff. They happily made some restaurant reccomendations and helped with "touristy" questions and always had a smile on their face.... more

After taking a cruise northbound from Vancouver, we took a tour of Prince William Sound on Saturday and then traveled by train to Anchorage where we had reservations for three couples at this hotel. Nothing to complain about - excellent all around - a real winner for Anchorage. Great staff and they are very prompt in handling any concerns (I had a problem using a dryer and within 3 minutes of ending the call a guy was there in teh laundry room with me.). more
