We stayed in both the new building and the original building (once a house) on separate nights, both coming in to and leaving Anchorage. This B&B was very nice! We were able to walk everywhere from here! The room we had was small but comfortable. The breakfast was buffet style with some homemade goodies. The breakfast area was a good gathering space where we met other travelers. Our hosts made our dinner reservations and were very gracious! (We had dinner at Sachs....wonderful!) more

The moment we arrived, we were pampered... Fresh bananas, smiling faces... The view was a little over-rated in the other reviews but it is easy to walk to the bay and it is close to restaurants, shops, and the tourist attactions. (Anchorage is a suprisingly small town...) This was first day of vacation after very intense year and crazy week before departure. We loved the welcoming waterfall and flowers. Well run with attentive staff. Excellent quality fruit at the continental breakfast. Lovely views of the inlet from dining room. Lovely inn in a beautiful location. Clean, comfortable rooms. They went overboard to accommodate our unpredictable schedule and boy was it crazy and unpredictable. Very thoughtful of our needs. A definite stay for future visits to Anch. more
