loved the rooms we stayed at the beginning and end of our trip and loved all of it. The rooms were great, very spacious and nice touched which did make it feel homely. Glen was lovely and very helpful when we needed to find places to eat and explore; breakfast was nice and the communal feel was great. No issues...

A friend and I stayed at the Copper Whale Inn in Anchorage when we found we had four days between the end of a tour and catching the train to Fairbanks, which only runs on Saturdays. We chose the Copper Whale Inn from the internet as none of the hotels offerred by travel agents seemed to be what we wanted....

We stayed at the Copper Whale Inn in June of this year. It is pretty centrally located in downtown Anchorage, an easy 4 or 5 block walk to the main area of downtown. We were shocked to find that there was no parking available when we arrived. You either had to keep feeding the meter or park in a garage...

Thanks for your thoughts, and your high marks for our location and service. All parking info & pricing are on our website to see before reserving a room. Our parking vouchers are half what the garage charges you directly. The garage is only one-half block from the Inn, not several blocks.

We loved the Copper Whale - Anchorage is a funky little city and needs to be seen from street level - not from a big hotel. Copper Whale is perfectly located - walking distance to some great restaurants and pubs. We ate at Snow CIty Cafe for lunch, Humpy's for dinner -try the salmon burger.

We stayed at The Copper Whale Inn during the Fur Rondy and the Iditarod. It was a great place to stay ! Clean , comfortable and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Within walking distance of downtown and all its sights and activities as well as some excellent restaurants. We will be back !
