discreet hotel, short drive from downtown anchorage. Rooms were clean, spacious, with fridge, micro, sink, separate dining table, ample free parking. We stayed here one night after our Alaska cruise and found it to be sufficient. Not great not bad. Shuttle to airport was handy as was grocery store on corner but the main problem was the walk to most shops/visitor center was too LONG.(15min walk) Next time I would stay on 4th or 5th. more

We had a corner room on the top floor and watched the sun attempt to set from our bed about 1am. You can see the entire Cook Inlet. There was a fridge and microwave. I have only been there once this winter - but stayed there almost every 2 weeks last winter. It was a little rough during their remodel - but it is great now. I always found the staff friendly and theplace has been clean. . . . I plan to stay there again. more

We stayed at the inlet in late August, 2005. I found the room "on special" for $99. It was clean and well worth the price, although I would have expected more at their regular price of $150+. In relatively low-rise Anchorage, the high floor rooms in this mini-tower have nice views. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from downtown. It has moody, cool-looking lobby, but the rooms are much less spiffy. The bathroom, in particular, was small and old fashioned. The room seemed tired, too. Air conditioning would be nice at this price! more
