What an amazing place! Our travels originated elsewhere in Alaska and hadn't gone well, so by the time we arrived at Coastal Place, we were desperate to find some rest and relaxation. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in a residential area right on the edge of the downtown – we could walk to all the attractions and return to the quiet of Bootlegger’s Cove. Well appointed, quaint, and comfortable setting in a quiet corner of Anchorage. It has easy access to the Anchorage trail system as well as downtown. The building survived the big 1964 earthquake. The innkeepers are very friendly, knowledgeable, and can get you headed in the right direction on you Alaska adventure. more
