Microtel is an OK place for a short stay. There is free wireless and a decent continental breakfast. The room had a small fridge, etc. My only real complaint is that the hallways smell like cigarettes and chlorine. Inside the room this was not a problem. more

We (husband and college students) have stayed at this facility on two occasions, May of 2007 and 2008. The people were always quite friendly and helpful. The facilities are more than adequate for the price. It was clean and the breakfast good. This is an excellent motel for the price. We plan to return this May for a third time! more

We were given a room on the ground floor. At first I thought it might be noisy, but it was quite quiet. The only noise we heard was the sound of water running early in the morning (~7:00 a.m.) from people using the shower or bathroom upstairs. This was just a short drive from the airport, but a $16 cab ride to the downtown area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beware they have a late check in, but they did find us a room earlier. 2 hot tubs. more

We stayed the night here before an Alaskan Cruise. The hotel was clean and comfortable with large rooms. The staff was friendly and competent. Their free shuttle picked us up from the airport on the night we arrived in Anchorage. They called a cab for us the next day (of the cruise) so we could catch the bus to Whittier.... more
