This is the biggest dump in the middle of drug district in Anchorage. Deceptive sales practices, dirty rooms, and a rude manager combine to make the worst hotel in the state of Alaska. Everyone in the lobby was looking for another place to stay. They were the lucky ones who didn't pre-pay through the web. For the multiple deficiencies at this property, the proprietor would proclaim with indignation "you're in Alaska." Wish I had paid an extra $20 and stayed at an inn where I felt safe. more

Worst hotel we have ever stayed at. We booked a non smoking room. Caught the staff roasting coffee in the room to cover up the smell of smoke. Noted them doing this in several rooms. Our room had clearly been smoked in. Phone wasn't working correctly and didn't get the coffee maker or clock radio as in the booking agreement. more
