A comfortable serious fishing lodge on truly the shore of Lake Clark. The rooms were clean and had comfortable beds.
The staff was exceptional and very accomodating and friendly.
The chef prepared wonderful 2 entree meals each evening and each one rivaled the previous night!!
The fishing guides and pilots are extremely knowledgeable of the rivers and will make sure that you get to the best "holes" first and their personalities make the fishing all the more fun!
If your desire is to go to the coast halibut fishing, that is also an option with a delicious ciopino lunch on the beach having used crab and fish from the Halo Bay. Lots of bears and other wildlife to observe also.
It is an expensive trip but if your goal is to catch big rainbows, char, grayling, and salmon and spend enjoyable evenings in the lodge with interesting and friendly anglers, this is the place.
I will return in 2007 and can't wait!
