Traveling with spouse, mother and aunt. Found this to be an adequate stop over for one night. Did not appreciate having to remove shoes before entering house... it is not like the carpet is new or even light colored. Rooms are almost museum like with lots of bric/brac. Stayed 3 nights at big bear bb in June 09. Carol is a wonderful hostess with a wealth of knowledge of the local area and answered was an excellent source of information. Excellent B&B in Anchorage. Carol and family are the most hospitable hosts, with superb breakfasts provided by Carol and we have adopted Carol's recipe for coffee.
