Good location as opposite much more expensive Captain Cook hotel. Was allocated a disabled room for no particular reason and is located on ground floor and next to reception and laundry but these points did not cause noise problems.The room was well appointed and very roomy. This place is perfectly located to walk to anything downtown. Very clean and very friendly staff. Parking was very close and well lit. I cannot comment on the breakfast. Hotel offer shuttle service to the airport.

I stayed here three times with a friend in March 2013. Each time our room was very large and clean. The location of the hotel is also excellent and it was one of the cheapest places we stayed in Alaska. It's a 30 year-old hotel that has been totally updated. Wonderful room accomodations, huge room with kitchenette, modern bathroom with handicap assist bars, sofa and wide screen TV.
