We really enjoyed our stay at the Voyager! The room was large and very clean. The staff was very helpful. I would recommend it to any of my friends and colleagues. The location in downtown Anchorage allowed us to stay and do all we wanted without having to have a car. more

We spent a night at the Voyager before driving to the Kenai Peninsula for a week. The Voyager is a very good value. Small hotel with big rooms, quiet, spotlessly clean, great beds. Nothing glamorous about this place, tiny lobby and elevator, friendly service. For breakfast, walk a few blocks to the popular Ski City restaurant, teeming with locals and... more

spent 6 nights here in June 2008. The location is quiet and ideal for downtown Anchorage, very close to 5th/6th avenue bars and restaurants, and also the Coastal Trail. You can also walk to the Sagaya Deli market which is useful for campers. The room was very large and a good price for this town. Good blackout curtains. The mattress... more

We're glad we chose this small hotel that is on the outskirts of the tourist section of downtown Anchorage. It is small, nondescript, nothing fancy, but clean and wholesome. Continental breakfast is even served. The staff are not particularly friendly but they are efficient. It's the location for the price that makes it worth considering. We enjoy walking, and we... more

Stayed for 1 night prior to cruise after touring Alaska for a week. This is a great hotel - small (40 rooms), exceptionally clean, staff among the most pleasant I have encountered anywhere - and even on a Sunday afternoon very helpful and well informed about sights and restaurants nearby. We had room with 2 beds - one a regular... more

I stay at the Voyager Hotel each time I am in Anchorage Alaska on business which is several times a year. I love this hotel, the owner cares and it shows, the staff is wonderful and the cozy hotel with large rooms is clean and in excellent repair. It is central to the courts and downtown services. Also has what... more

The rooms are very nice- very clean and the kitchenette is a plus. They advertise breakfast but we did not consider a cup of coffee and a sweet standing in the lobby a breakfast! The parking is an irritant because there is a charge after 9:00 A.M. and before 5:00 P.M. We felt that the price was too high for... more

From TripAdvisor and other sources, this seemed like the best value in an expensive city. The location is fine -- we are Seniors, but we easily walked the five blocks from the cruise ship dropoff point to the hotel with our rolling suitcases. Our first room (a corner) was HUGE, with a queen bed, a pull out, a kitchenette, and... more

Coffee and a few danish pastires provided in entance foyer in the morning. Central location and were recommended a meal in Simon's and Seafort's Grill. Excellent food and amazing view if you can get near the window and... more

I was in the area for business. I stayed in the Voyager for three nights, not consecutive. I thought that the rooms (3) were excellant. All very very clean and comfortable. Before you read the downside; I did return to the Voyager for two more nights. There were some points that concerned me. One had to go to the desk... more
