My family and I satyed at the Residence Inn in Anchorage Midtown on June 19 and 20 and again on June 29 while we traveled around Alaska by rental car. The Residence Inn is clean and spacious with a friendly staff. The hot breakfast provided each morning is excellent. You have fresh cooked eggs, sausage, waffles and the full continental... more

I stayed here for 8 days for work. The accommodations are pleasant, but generic. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly. All in all, it's a very standard business hotel with all of the amenities you'd expect. My only complaint is that the wi-fi connection is somewhat sketchy. more

I stay at this Residence Inn for both business and family trips. Hotel is located close to a mall, grocery store, the best pizza restaurant in the city, and the main strip into and out of town. Far enough off the roads to be quiet. Decent sized rooms but smaller than other Residence Inn's I've stayed at. Well equipped kitchen.... more

Have stayed at the location several times and as usual it met all of our needs. The rooms are large and clean and the beds are comfortable. But the week spot is in the housekeeping staff, thet don't always replenish the coffee or toiletries. The real STAR can be found in the dining room. His name is Fred. He can... more

We stayed here for two weeks with a baby and two dogs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a nice big free breakfast buffet each morning and a delicious dinner Mon-Thurs. Complimentary Coffe, Tea, Hot Chocolate and other drinks (lemonade, water, etc.) are always available. The rooms were very clean and there is a nice indoor pool... more

This is a nice hotel, howover the rooms were smaller than the older built Residence Inns we have stayed at. We had no problems during our stay. The beds were good, parking free and breakfast good. The hotel is clean and the staff helpful. We would stay here if we visit again. more

8 Jun 2008 | Trip type: Business, Friends getaway

A friend and I stayed for 4 nights in April in one of their 2 bedroom suites. The rooms each had their own bathroom and we shared a den and kitchenette area. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There was a full breakfast each morning and on Monday through Thursday evenings they had a "light" supper (i.e. chili,... more

I have tried the other Anchorage Marriott properties on previous trips, so I figured to continue. This is a newer RI design, not the older clump of buildings, giving a little more of a feeling of security. There is no direct access to rooms from outside. The office/reception looks a little like a northern lodge from the outside (a log... more

We were in Anchorage on two occasions separately, July and August, for our driving trek from New York to Alaska. In July we stayed four nights; in August, two. Each time we had a two-bedroom suite. If we stay in a hotel, we like suites as there are two adults and three children. The suites had a couch which opened... more

this hote. whichl is VERY well managed and VERY well maintained. Service is courteous and quick; the breakfast buffet fits all tastes with excellent food; the whole place is CLEAN. As a traveller who always books hotels with indoor pools for my kids, I especially appreciated the clean, warm and not overly clorinated pool. The adjacent hot tub was also... more
