Long House Alaskan Hotel is exactly what it says it is: a well kept, clean, friendly, and economical hotel. Its no-frills atmosphere allows the traveler to enjoy a comfortable nights rest while attending to business or pleasure in the Anchorage area. The kind of place where you're afraid to walk shoeless on the carpet. Enough said. We chose this hotel because it offered a walk in freezer to store any fish you may have caught. It is also close to the airport. On the down side we were afraid to sleep under the covers.
