When we arrived we were given an apartment in the dungeon. There was a dirty glass in the cupboard, a damaged glass, the fridge was rusty and there was water coming up through the floor in the 'bathroom'. The mirror & shelf in the 'bathroom' were covered in toothpaste from the previous occupants. There was a shower but no shower... more

I am mystified as to how anybody can come away from the Mari Gianna Appartments, Sissi without saying they had a thoroughly good time. Dont get me wrong, every review you read on here about the accomodation being very basic is true.... but that is Greece for you. If you want 4 or 5 star hotels, find another holiday destination... more

We both stayed in room 102 for 2 weeks and can say that we had NO problems at all. Manos and all the staff were so friendly and helpful , we didn't want to leave. more

Manos and his son Vasilis could not have been more helpful. The rooms are basic, which you would expect anyway and clean. The cleaner, bless her, was cleaning on her own. The only thing I would say is the bedding and towels could have been changed more frequently than once a week. Harry, the barman, is a laugh a minute.... more

My husband and i booked into the MariGianna only to find a man sleeping in his car when we arrived early hours of the morning, when we woke him because we couldn't get into the hotel he asked us to get into his car and he would take us to a friends hotel because he was in fact fully booked!!... more
