The room was clean and well maintained. Free Internet service was a plus. Bathroom needs to be updated - as well as the hotel elevators which are dated and not particularly inviting. Overall, an acceptable value - but the hotel needs to improve its appeal. More

We just finished a two night stay at the hotel for a wedding. We had updated rooms but the bathrooms only had updated counters. The tubs were old, the floor was old and the toilet seats were OLD! That was probably the most frustrating thing, a toilet seat doesn't cost much, why not replace them when they did the updates?... More

The location of this hotel was great for seeing downtown Springfield attractions and the price was very reasonable. The room and lobby were beautifully decorated. This is a very old/outdated property. The A/C does not work..every room is sticky, hot and smells like mildew. Very nicely appointed, recently renovated hotel - within walking distance of the train station, and all the downtown museums and attractions. We found it through Travelocity, but booked with them directly. The man who took our reservation was very helpful and friendly - even helped us book a special rate. I received the reservation confirmation via email, which was convenient.... More
