Rooms were reserved through a third party. We had five rooms, none that appeared to have been cleaned for awhile. I had to attend a conference in Springfield, IL right after them enduring a hurricane. Most of the hotels were booked online so I started calling around. After check in I went to the room and found it very unacceptable...There was paper and debris under the bed..Second the TV was not working and third where the smoke detector was only wires were hanging out of the wall, No smoke detector!!!! Better off sleeping in car! Bathroom not clean (didn't even replace soap), no shampoo at the hotel, lamps unplugged/broken, no clock in room, unhelpful staff, front desk staff gave incorrect directions to room, everything you don't want in a hotel. Sheesh. more
