There is a gigantic stuffed polar bear in the lobby, and that is the best thing about the place. The 'hot tubs' out the back were luke warm, and although the food in the restaurant turned out to be nice enough it cost an arm and a leg and a song and dance to get anything decent for the vegetarians.... more

Fantastic lodging with a view of the excotic Icelandic nature. Short distance to many extrordinary sightseeings like the vulcano Hekla, the hot geysers, beautiful waterfalls, glaciers and the highlands which all are must sees if you're visiting this remarkable island.
