We spent four nights in the Hotel Edda at Skogar. It is basic, with baths in the hall way, but very nice and clean. All the Hotel Edda group are actually school dormitories during term time. Well this is the best boarding school accommodation I've ever seen! Basic budget hotel but good location, within 10 mins of the waterfall and good base for other attractions including the Glacier, Laki and Seljavellier pool. Food very good but expensive - can eat more cheaply at the Folk Museum which is open to 6.30. more
