My room was tiny but clean and functional and at $105/night with bath I believe it was a good deal. The staff was OK but not particularly freindly or charming. The prices more than doubled because of a college game closeby over the weekend. This was bad enough but the prices stayed doubled into Monday and Tuesday although the rooms were empty Sunday and Monday before Thanksgiving! Local luxury hotels were back to half the price and nearby hotels even less. Irving House not worth the prices they insist upon. more

Wi-fi is advertised but the signal was basically unusable. When the problem was reported the response was "we can't keep up with demand". Great. I recently stayed at Irving House and would not recommend it for anything other than location. First off, the term B&B is a misnomer..it is more of a modestly glorified guesthouse.
