This was a first class accommodation. It is often difficult trying to find accommodations configured for a couple with 2 teenage boys in which we need 2 separate rooms. This offered all that & more with an outstanding level of comfort & furnishings. Our main reservation was whether Cambridge would be too far out for a vacation in Boston. It wasn't. Not only is Cambridge/Harvard interesting in itself but I suspect that wherever you ended up in Boston you'd have to use the T to get around so being a couple of stops over the river was no disadvantage. We'd recommend this place without reservation to anyone looking for a family vacation in Boston. more

My husband, two teenage sons and I just returned from a trip to Boston for sightseeing, coupled with visiting schools in Cambridge. We rented Guest House M807 from Cambridge Vacation Rentals. The two women I worked with at CVR could not have been kinder nor more accomodating. Even though I called two days before arriving, one of them helped me find this treasure of a home, M807. The other assisted me in outstanding ways once we were there. Kudos to Cambridge Vacation Rentals!

Upon entry, one feels the beauty and serenity of this guest home. It won an architectural award several years ago, and deservedly so. It has gorgeous wood floors, lovely & comfortable furnishings, fantastic light, is spacious, & aesthetically pleasing in every way. We rented two (of 3 available) rooms for our family, which worked out well. We had access to kitchen and laundry facilities.
