I had a great stay one night stay at this Kimpton Hotel. The front desk was friendly and welcoming. My room as perfect and I had a good rest. It is a great location for exploring the Museum of Science, the Charles River, and Faneuil Hall. Underground parking was convenient but expensive. I didn’t drive once I was there. Boston/Cambridge... more

I'm surprised by all the gushing about this hotel. It's OK. I'll even go as far as to say it's above average. But excellent? No way. Someone below even wrote that the furnishings were tasteful....yeah right, ,maybe if you're a pimp. Some positives first. Arriving at the hotel you'll find that the lobby is offset from the road in a... more

This is one of the few hotels that lived up to, perhaps exceeded, the hype and photos on the hotel website. We chose it because the price was better than downtown Boston and we wanted to spend some time in Cambridge, too. The hotel is nicely situated between two easily walkable T stops (Lechmere and Science Center) and it's a... more

Friendly service and elegance greeted us the moment we arrived at the Marlowe. After being ushered in by the ever-attentive doorman, we checked in with ease and proceeded to our room. Although clean and beautifully furnished, the room faced the courtyard. We inquired at the front desk and were upgraded at no additional cost to one of the rooms facing... more

We stayed at the Marlowe for a long weekend in July, and stayed in their "King Deluxe View" The positive: - Accessible location to greater Boston just a few minutes walk to the Lechmere T stop. Cut through the canal park to save a little bit of time. - Friendly-but-not-too-friendly staff - A generally good-sized room, kept clean and with... more

My sister and I stayed at the Hotel Marlowe for two nights in June. I have stayed at several other Kimpton hotels around the country where I've had great experiences, and the Hotel Marlowe was right up to par with these other properties. The hotel is decorated in the usual unusual Kimpton style. The staff went above and beyond to... more
