Very conveniently located to explore but that is its best point aside from the garage. Very tired and dated hotel, needs a good makeover. The porter broke the door frame of the first room so we switched to another. Small bathrooms but functional. Would not stay there again.

Stayed here early spring and just walked in and got good discount on rack rate:40-50% discount. Quality accommodation-room overlooking harbour. Staff efficient and helpful.

Easily reached on foot from Trani's train station, the Hotel Royal is also within a pleasant walking distance (perhaps 15 or 20 minutes) to Trani's harbor and its magnificent cathedral.
