Very nice hotel set up against the hillside giving a view of town and sea below. Some rooms sit over the property and pool, others lower towards the field. pool area is very nice with plentiful chairs and room. Restaurant is also a nice standard for meals. Breakfast is nice, but not exactly at a four star level, definitely a... More

Nicely located in cala gonone at walking distance from sea, restaurants and bars but reccomend to have a car to visit other places and beaches. The hotel is very nice. Rooms are clean an spacious. Breakfast is rich and restaurant very good. Tv takes only 3 channels. The swimming pool is amazing.

This was a lovely hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting some rest and relaxation. It was on the edge of the town, but easily walking distance to the centre. The service received from all the staff, whether reception, restaurant or cleaning staff was perfect. It is a small resort hotel (47 rooms) so there was plenty of... More

Great small hotel if you want to avoid standardized, impersonal hotels with no Italians. Nice mixture of guests: Italians and other nationalities, young couples and families. Beautiful pool, high standard of cleanliness, friendly staff (who were always willing to help me practice my rusty Italian), excellent and plentiful food, walking distance to a beach, and a bit longer but pleasant... We booked very last minute as we couldn't decide where to go. When arriving I couldn't remember which one it was as I had looked at so many online but as we got a little lost driving from the airport we asked directions in a near by hotel in Cala donone which turned out to be one I had nearly... The hotel/pool/rooms are very nice. BUT we had paid ahead for half-board when we made our reservation. The dinners were awful, and we couldn't get our money back. e.g., one night the entree was boiled goat backbone, which was as awful as it sounds. It appeared that the food was much better for those not on half-board, so clearly the... More

Great place. I attended a small, 30-person "rock climbing" conference in June. My family and I had a wonderful time. The restaurant/staff served pleasing food and a wide variety of dishes. My 4-year old loved the huge swimming pool.

The hotel, located about a mile above and outside town, reminded me of a Greek resort, all whitewashed with bougainvillea tracing arched doorways and a lovely, large free-form swimming pool. Our sea view standard room was like a little casita with a large terrace bisected by a blue dovecote tower and a view of the Tyrrhenian Sea in the distance.... More

Room was very dark and actually had just one very little window and a door and terasse towards the pool. as there was not much going on in June we didn't have a problem with that. otherwise the room was clean and so was the bathroom. both a bit outdated or *original* if you prefer that term. What was a... More

Positives - although august hotel was relatively quiet and the spacious pool was never busy. Restaurant food and service was great. Rooms were basic but very clean. Nice size hotel, not big and impersonal. Nice playground for kids. Cons - a bit expensive, was inflexible about providing kettle for making baby milk even though paid over 200£ for suite. Need...
