The zoo is a neat place to visit -- we've been here three times. Feeding the animals is always fun - especially for children (or those young in heart). This time we stayed in a cabin, which is within the zoo property yet in view of the visitors area. The cabin was clean and was as described on the web... More

We have been to many safari type places. We enjoyed staying in the cabins. We loved waking up to all of the animals. There is a small petting zoo directly in the middle of the camp grounds. We plan on going back and spending more time as a family there.

My family went here a while back and I'm just now getting around to reviewing it. We really enjoyed being able to be so close to the animals and feed them. We spent the night in one of the cabins there in the winter time and one thing I didn't like was that the heat in the cabins (or at... More

We just spent a night there with my 3 and 5 year old boys and can not tell you how much we enjoyed the experience. We have been to the zoo 1 other time when my sons were much younger and loved just the tour, but staying overnight is the icing on the cake. The cabins are a bit rustic... More

Went here with my family a while back and it was really neat to see all the different animals. I honestly couldnt even name all the animals they had at this place but all of them would come right up to the trailer that they pull you around on and eat food from your hand. You can buy a bucket... More

gave this 4 because of price, kinda pricey with a family of 5, I think ours came to $75 with a bucket of feed. 2 of our kids loved it, one teen boy was less than enthusiastic. If you love animals, its great. I think the animals were tired of being fed by afternoon as they were not coming up and... More

We got interested in the Resort 2 years ago when a relative asked what kind of Exotics can Texas grow. Well we went on the internet to find that out. We attempted to rent the cabins that first year and were never able to locate a weekend available. We finally got the reservation for a 50th Birthday celebration this past... More

We stayed in cabin 4 fully expecting it to be small after reading reviews(it is much smaller then any hotel room you could rent). What we did not expect is how filthy it was (the coffe maker still had coffe in it, there were dishes from the previous users in the sink, my infant crawled accross the floor and her... More

I went to the Exotic Resort Zoo with my best friend and her two kids. We had the best time on our tour. The animals were very friendly, the tour guide, Tammy, was quite lovely, she was informative and she gave me her jacket because I was cold. Some FYI's if possible wear your old sneakers, bring wet wipes or... More
