Spent a lovely night here when touring round Tuscany. Only wish it could have been longer. The rooms atmosphere and garden are all wonderful. The advice we were given about local restaurants resulted in possibly the best meal I have ever had, truly a special part of the world. Hope to return next year.

Our first visit to Residenza (see previous review) was amazing, but we drove by on our last visit (January 2012) to Montepulciano and Torrita di Siena, and learned that the wonderful proprietor Georges was gone! We stayed an oval weekend in beginning of May 2012. When we arrived and through our stay, the atmosphere and the staff did their best to give us a positive and pleasant stay. They succeeded... The building, the sorroundings and the place is just magnificent. My top recommendation for this place. It is really worth spending time here.
