Staying at Residenza D'Arte was an absolute highlight of our five week European trip. Go to the official website and look at the photos. It is all this and much more. Everywhere you look there is something beautiful to be seen; an amazing view over a grove of olive trees; a beautiful and intriguing artwork; an ancient wall baking in... More

We stayed at Residenza d'arte in late October for 3 nights. The hotel was ideally situated for our purposes. We wanted to stay in the southern part of Tuscany and be close to Cortona, Siena and Montepulciano. The manager of the hotel was incredible at helping us both with our pre-trip planning and while we were there. The rooms are... More

My husband and I just returned from a 10 day trip to Rome, Florence, and Tuscany. We found this hotel on Tablet and very glad we did. After 8 days of running around Rome and Florence trying to cram in all that we could, we were thrilled to call Residenza d'Arte our "home" for the last 3 days of our... More

Residenza d'Arte has enough art to fill a museum and was tastefully decorated to not overwhelm. The suites were spacious, the air conditioning adequate and the baths modern. Just prepare yourself for a treat as Geoges will take care of your every wish. He is a great host but we did not expect that he would also be a chef.... More

Residenza D'Arte is a good choice for: #1 Those looking for a unique place with rustic charm and quirkiness rather than the usual 'luxury' suspects. While some may be spooked by the 'female mannequins' situated throughout the property, I find them oddly interesting and artistic, and it was my curiosity for such oddity which attracted me to Residenza D'Arte in... The most scenic and rolling hills are the view from this wonderful Residance. We stayed at the Residance for two nights and we didn't have a car and George was very generous in his time and knowledge of the area and places to eat. George was even lovely enough to drive us to a winery and a restaurant for lunch... More

We arrived in Tuscany for a 4 day trip and, as this was a surprise for me, everything was organised by my husband (I ususally always plan every trip we go on and always choose the hotel!) I must admit, I was absolutely blown away by his choice of location (which feels like you are in the actual heart of... More

We stayed in the hotel for 6 nights in June 2011. On the first night, when I called George, the owner to tell that we were late because of a terrible traffic jam, he said no problem, and he even asked us if we wanted dinner. He usually doesnt make dinner, but this was very kind from him after our... More

Possibly the best holiday, bar none. While the scenery, the gorgeous residence and the central location are near perfect, it is Georges who made our stay something to never forget. From the welcoming prosecco to the local recommendations to the fabulous service, we will never stay another place in Tuscany. We ate in the best restaurants, visited beautiful vineyards and... More

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted with nice champagne and a big smile. Beautiful place overlooking the city decorated by amazing art all throughout. Quiet. Owner is very kind and friendly (multiple languages too). He made sure we felt very comfortable and provided options based on what we wanted to do. He even booked our reservations! His food/wine...
