October was quiet not many other guests there but we didn't mind this. The position of the accommodation is in a quiet village in beautiful countryside. The autumn colours were outstanding. We were looking for a country retreat from which we could go to the surounding towns including Sienna. In santa Maria we found a very affordable base from where we traveled to all the towns and villages. We also took many fantastic walks in the surrounding countryside. Very charming family-run country inn close to San Giglimiano, Florence, Pisa and Siena. Laura speaks English and helped us with other travel arrangements. We had a very enjoyable two weeks and would go back next time we are in Tuscany. More

This is a beautiful villa and would highly recommend a stay. There are a lot of excellent restaurants in the area. Stephania, Laura and Babbo were very helpful and speak many languages. They suggested many interesting restaurants and places to visit. We stayed a week and would go back. More

Had a very nice visit here, The villa is a new build in the traditional style and right on a busy country road. It is not an agriturismo in that they do not grow any crops, or have livestock. Beautiful villas and surroundings. Excellent for relaxing by in the sun or as a base to travel to local cities (get a rental car for flexibility). Good local amenities with a local shop and supermarkets a 5 minute drive away. Been twice and am sure we will return again. More
