The apartments are basic, but very large. The kitchen is fine, but no cutlery or cooking equiptment supplied in a self-catering apartment? Very odd. We spread Flora on our sandwiches with a credit card - honestly. Rooftop terrace seemed fine, but Golden Bay is €1.16 by bus and less than 30 mins away, so we went there or Meililha Bay... more

We arrived in Malta thinking we were stopping at some apartments next door to the Bella Vista Hotel. However, we were told we were going to Aparthotel on Tourist Street (the 1 street I dreaded being on) but I'm so glad we did as these apartments were lovely and clean the air-con worked! which is very unusal in Malta. I have just returned from a 9 day holiday at the Bellavista aparthotel. Rooms were spacious, clean, having had th bathrooms refurbished. Food was adequate and cooked fresh. Staff were friendly. All in all a good holiday. more

After booking with lastminute.com, I arrived on the 16th April to find the hotel closed for maintenance. After making enquiries I was 'upgraded', with apologies, to the Bella Vista Hotel, and given half board status. Just spent a week on B&B rate at the Bella Vista Aparthotel (note: NOT the Bella Vista Hotel, a sister operation in another location in Qawra).
