Hotel is in a stunning location, staff, service and breakfasts are all good. However, if you want peace & quiet to enjoy your surroundings this is not the hotel for you. Fuerte have a "kids go free" policy which means it is a very family orientated hotel & children are everywhere, especially in the pool & jacuzzi. The hotel have... more

Well if you are tempted to go in the area by all mean do it is just beautiful and there are other hotels available than the dreaded Fuerte! The location is fabulous for hiking and exploring the area, Unfortunately the bad management of the hotel made our stay a big let down on the accomodation and food side. We arrived... more

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Fuerte Grazalema Hotel and although the weather was not that good we had a very enjoyable stay, a bar lunch in front of a large log fire while the rain poured down one day was a real treat The hotel is set in the National Park and is some... more

We spent 5 nights here on our honeymoon in Oct 07. Its an absolutely beautiful hotel with amazing scenery! Rustic yet refined. Rooms are nice and all have a view. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fun game room with a pool table, ping pong, video games, etc. There is a pool but its not heated and was ice cold. Great... more

We really wish we'd stayed here longer rather than moving on to Arcos for our last 2 days. All roads leading here have truly marvellous views. This modern, large, well-appointed hotel is situated in a wonderful setting on the opposite side of the valley to Grazalema with spectacular views of the mountains behind. The rooms are well-appointed, clean and comfortable -... more

Beautiful hotel in a superb location. Stayed for 5 nights, end of July early Aug 07. The hotel is very cool and comfortable, the room was perfect for 2 adults and one child. The swimming pool and surrounding area is very well maintained and run. The breakfasts and evening meals were again top quality. Would highly recommend this hotel. Less... more

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. We stayed here at the end of a trip around andalucia. It was the perfect end to the holiday ,so much so we stayed for an extra night. The location is the best part - spectacular views with balconies and a terrace bar from which to enjoy the sunset. The staff... more

We needed a peaceful situation for the third night of our trip and we certainly found it nestling in the hills. We thought the roads would be very twisty, but we arrived very quickly and the roads were very good. The hotel sits in the mountains with views over to Grazalema (one of the pueblos blancos). There is nothing else... more

Situated right in the middle (more or less) of the massive parque natural de Grazalema, the Fuerte boasts first class service and the sort of extensive views you would normally expect from a low flying plane. My wife and I spent a week here in July. We'd pass the mornings exploring the beautifully wooded, rocky landscape surrounding the (impossibly) pretty... more
