It was a truly wonderful week, fantastic food, my room had a balcony with views of the mountains. The conference room had the wonderful sound of the stream rushing by and a dipper that visited daily. The staff were helpful and really put themselves out to accomodate the different food requirements of our diverse group. I plan to go back... more

we travelled with our 11 and 15 year old sons. from the minute we entered the doors of the hotel i had a good feeling. paco greeted us at reception. he was so friendly, eventhough he was in the throws of serving sunday lunch. the beautiful flowers, grounds and pool area were stunning. this is a very special hotel, but... more

Over the last 20 years, to escape the hustle of the Costa del Sol, we have spent short stays at this delightful Rural Hotel in the Andalucian Countryside, attracted by the lack of televisions and the silenced mobile phones. We have ambled along the pathways watching the wildlife, robins to vultures, seen the Roman Ruins of Acinipo with its well... more

Molino is a lovely place to spend a holiday - the hotel and gardens are delightful, with very high standards -good food, clean and eco friendly, very helpful staff and excellent management. On your doorstep you have wonderful countryside for walking, flowers, birds and interesting places to visit. The mountain situation is fantastic. We have visited 17 times in 19 years... more

A charming, delightful small hotel with lovely rooms and a pool. Dine beside a rushing stream--the food is top notch, the service friendly, but unobtrusive. Through the helpful staff we found sidetrips that were offbeat (a cave we explored with a gude and one other couple, just a half hour away). I wish I could return every year. more

My ninth visit my partner has been many more times. When you arrive you get the warmest of welcomes and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast is the best I have been offered in any hotel I have visited, Dinner very good too. All in all I would say this is the friendliest place I have ever... more

Spent a night here on March 9th having previously visted some ten years earlier. Even though we had chosen the wettest coldest week to visit Andulusia our night at El Molino did not disappoint. Beautiful building with charming staff - food was fantastic as before. Buffet breakfast excellent with plenty of choice. A great place to stop - highly recommend! more

We reached Molino del Santo after 5 days of walking down from Zahara. Molino was like an oasis - beautiful gardens beside the river, a friendly welcome and a fantastic room. Although we had eaten well during our travels, the evening meal was in another league. The local recommended wines, Mures (red) particularly, were outstanding. After five days of dry... more

We came for a seminar with 20 other people. Very quickly Pauline and the staff at the Molino were able to organise and cater for our every need, even poridge for breakfast! The rooms were comfortable & very clean and even having central heating for the chill of early mornings in April, which soon turned into sunshine. The food was... more

I've been staying at the Molino for many years, always with pleasure, so I can't understand the recent negative review on here ("Great Expectations meets Bleak House"). I can only conclude that the writer is used to a different kind of experience - and if you check out the other hotel he praises at the end of his review, you... more
