We recently spent four nights at the Sheraton and our room was newly remodeled with completely new furniture, etc. The bed was so comfortable we had never slept so good! When we arrived the clerk checked us in immediately and accomodated our request to be close to the pool. We received very good service the entire trip. Our room was... more

My colleagues and I spent 5 days at the Sheraton in late May. We all agreed that the hotel left lot to be desired. We arrived at 4.15pm on Sunday afternoon. The first desk clerk stated that no rooms were available and we had to wait in the lobby. After 5 minutes we decided to move to another desk clerk... more

An ok hotel however, the little things drive me crazy. The card reader for entering and exiting small cramped parking lot never worked on the first or second try. The hotel had an event, the security staff blocked everyone from entering the parking except if you were a guest you had to tell and show him the room key twice.... more

Great hotel with great services. Beautiful swimming pool, really good breakfast (missing it already), huge rooms, great service and helpful staff. Our flight didn't leave until 10 p.m. and the hotel kindly let us stay in our room until 5 p.m. when we left for the airport. Would highly recommend and go back. Really nice fitness center and loved the... more

While the proximity to the conference center, Coca Cola World, and aquarium is nice(~10 blocks away), I was disappointed at the lack of customer service. I hoped to experience Atlanta's famed Southern hospitality but was checked-in by a desk clerk who wouldn't make eye contact. He had "trainer" on his badge. I hope he trains better than he performs. Many... more

Beautiful hotel, staff is very friendly and helpful from the time I showed up until the time I left. Food is great. Very clean rooms and quiet. Pool is really cool, the roof opens up to let the sun in. Bar is very nice. Always saw security walking around the hotel. Felt very safe. more

We stayed here for a family trip to the Georgia Aquarium (awesome) and to peruse area for possible relocation. When we arrived at 9:30 pm we requested and were given an upgrade from a double to a suite. However, on our way to church the very next day, we discovered the room bill under the door with scheduled check out... more

My husband & I stayed here for our anniversary and we were quite impressed with this hotel, actually. The bed was the most comfortable one we slept in for a long time! The room was kind of small but big enough for the two of us. The bathroom was nice but way too small. We asked for extra pillows to... more

26 Feb 2009 | Trip type: Friends getaway

This past weekend, I had a Priceline stay ($60) at the Sheraton Atlanta for a one-night getaway to Atlanta with a friend. The hotel is really quite nice. There has been extensive recent renovation, and the lobby and guest areas are lovely. The room itself has new furniture and a big-screen (42" LCD) tv, and very sumptuous pillow-top mattresses; nicer... more

We didn’t love this hotel, but we didn’t hate it either. I thought the staff was very friendly. I called trying to get directions to the hotel (we were not planning to drive to the hotel, so we didn’t bring directions or a GPS from home) and although I got hung up on twice, once I spoke to someone, she... more
