The location is great in relation to the Georgia Dome (approximately a 10 min walk). The rooms were comfortable and a decent size. The atrium is majestic and the service was great because we had an issue with the people in the room next to us and they switched us promptly. The elevator ride may be a bit scary for... more

I recently had to stay at this Hotel for a week of training, and brought along my husband and 4 month old baby and in-laws (so they could take care of my son while I was attending training at the Hotel). It worked out perfectly. The staff were very helpful and nice, the Hotel has 2 good resturants (though very... more

I booked this on priceline (bid for a downtown hotel) and this is the hotel that I got after i bid $75. With taxes and fees it cost $90/night. Plus $28/day (24hour) parking. The staff was was exceptional. The conceirge VERY informative. We were in town for a Braves game and had the option of catching the MARTA then a... more

Stayed here Saturday thru Monday with the husband and 2 teenagers. Room was clean and well decorated. Strange thing though is we had 3 bath towels for a room for 4. I called and asked for additional toweling, but never received it. I finally ran down a housekeeper and she handed me a few extras. No minibar. When we asked... more

The hotel was amazing. I asked to be put on a high floor with a city view and that's exactly what I got. The view was breaktaking. However, the rooms need to be updated with new electronics and better furniture. The room was a bit small, especiall the bathroom but was no bother at all. Overall my stay was great. more

The hotel is beautiful. Wonderful architecture! I would recommend staying on floors 1-5 if you are afraid of heights, otherwise this hotel may be a challenge for you. I got an amazing deal on priceline for $79 a night. For that price it was above and beyond worth every penny . The location is 5 blocks from the Aquarium (But... more

Wow! This place is amazing. WAAAY too expensive, but beautiful, all the same. I had a conference here and I've learned to stay in the hotel that hosts the conference. Ample meeting rooms; actually, the hotel had two conferences going. Never ate in the hotel 'cause it was too expensive, but purchased Starbucks coffee (open early, go early to avoid... more

There are five huge hotels in Downtown Atlanta--over 1,000 rooms each--and I've largely thought of these as interchangable. So staying this weekend at the Marriott Marquis was a pleasant surprise. I'd not been in the hotel in years, and clearly they have recently renovated. New carpet, other new additions--all was bright and fresh. This, like the Hyatt and Westin, is... more

I've had staff attitude problems here before but decided to try them again .. only to see it hasn't changed. I had reserved a double bed room on Concierge floor for my daughter and me and they said they only had a king bed room, so downgraded me to a non Concierge floor and lowered the price a little but... more
