Good value in the most touristy of the Las Alpujarras villages. Sr. Pepe Alvarez served us in the restaurant and then checked us in. Very efficient. The room was small, very clean, bathroom was gorgeous with impressive tile work. Balcony with place to hang our washed.clothes on a line.

Arrived without pre booking - not many places to stay up in the mountains but this hotel with restaurant was just perfect. Very reasonable price. Immaculately clean rooms. Quiet. No-one speaks English but all the staff were very helpful and friendly and fed and watered us well. Stunning view of the mountains and the valley from our room. Thoroughly recommended.

Spent a night in Trevelez in September, long drive up into the mountains on winding roads but the views are amazing. Stayed in Pepe Alvarez guesthouse for the night, very clean room with a nice little terrace to enjoy the views. Good value for money.
