On our first visit to this beautiful area of Northen Spain we were open minded. El Habana more than fulfilled our expectations in terms of the setting, decor, quality of service and it's good access to the spectacular Picos de Europe and some amazing beaches. It is an easy drive from Oviedo airport but in a very quiet and tranquil setting. The owner, Sirio and his great staff , including Pedro and Laura where friendly and helpful, Advice and even maps of where to go and what to visit were freely given. Breakfast was plentiful with an extensive buffet and/or cooked options. Evening dinner was fairly limited but of good quality and reasonably priced. Notice of an intention to 'dine in' had to be given in the morning ,however, nearby LLanes, a short drive away, provided plenty of choice and El Habana were happy to 'phone and book a table for us.
