This quaint rural hotel is set amongst the mountains looking towards the Picos de Europa (Peaks of Europe) national park. It is just south of the small town of Posada and west of Llanes. It is about 90 minutes west of Santander which has an airport and is on the north coast of Spain.

It is a lovely place and should be visited when it is not the rainy season so that you can have views of the peaks and surrounding valleys. There are hiking trails all around the property leading high into the nearby hills. Bring hiking shoes and a camera if you like that sort of thing.

The rooms are rustic and yet have all of the amenities you could ask for - toilets, showers, plenty of hot water a few cable television stations. Our double room "C" had a lovely covered patio of the main living space that allowed us to enjoy the outdoors even while it was raining. There was a queen size bed in the loft area and a whirlpool tub in the bathroom.
