Couldn't believe how close we were to the beach and ocean . Very friendly staff who are probably more used to dealing with Spanish speaking people than a bus load of folk with Northumbrian and Scottish accents. The hotel is beautifully situated and extremely comfortable. We went on a coach tour staying at the Juan de la Cosa for four nights (though must admit one would need a car otherwise). OK, it is far from the best hotel for meals (although the free wine at dinner was appreciated)-but I was impressed with the location. we arrived on a lovely suuny day,the room was fantasic,beautiful views from the balcony with sea view,clean and very modern.the food in the hotel was bad, set menus,not enough choice,very small meals and did not eat until 8pm.Bar has a very good choice of drinks.Set on the beach,no entertainment in the hotel,no shops near by cut off from the outside... more
