Everything about this hotel,the staff, and the management is 5 star plus. The room was superb, food out of this world with good service by pleasant waitresses. It is set in a beautiful sandy bay with superb views. It was one of the BEST holidays I`ve ever taken. Keep going Margot and may more people take advantage of this hotel!

Juan de la Cosa is a gem of a hotel which deserves to be treasured. Just returned from a short break in Cantabria. Wish I could have stayed longer. I have never been greeted with such genuine warmth in any hotel. The owner Margot met us off the ferry and ensured that we were completely satisfied with every aspect of the hotel.

Stayed 5 nights---bedrom was ok but dated as was the rest of the hotel. Dinner had to be ordered the night before and the service, while quick, was very slap dash. Food was not a highlight of the holiday. Staff all seemed to be too busy to be helpful. It was not a pleasant stay.
