Without a doubt, I have never had a worse hotel experience. The rooms are in dire need of renovation. Stayed 2 nights at Far View Motoor Lodge in Mesa Verde. Older lodge, though nice amentiies. We were in room 132 that had the MOST SPECTACULAR view. The only plus for this motor lodge is the location and views. Otherwise, I wouldn't stay there again. We stayed in a double standard room in Oct. 2009. I could barely turn around in the bathroom and the shower was worse. The heater came on with a blast about every 30 minutes all night long. It was noisy and miserable.... more

We found this property to meet our needs in every way and would not hesitate to stay again and to recommend it to friends. We had a kiva room which was very roomy and clean. Friendly staff, laid-back atmosphere. Rooms very spartan and showing their age. Smallest shower/toilet room ever! Internet only in the foyer, and then only intermittent. Restaurant was very nice, good food and service, but popular, so get there early! more
